Talent Manager, HR / Recruitment Consultant, Recruiter

Position Summary
The Job Developer is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with employers to create unsubsidized employment opportunities for clients
What You'll Do
- Conduct a minimum of 25 cold calls each day to identify businesses that are currently hiring, in addition to follow-up calls to employers and VRS participants.
- Secure a minimum of 14 unsubsidized placements, including but not limited to part-time and/or full-time employment of a minimum of 20 weekly hours, making no less than the approved minimum wage.
- Conduct a minimum of 2-3 field visits on a bi-weekly basis to establish and enhance partnerships with businesses to create job opportunities for WeCARE participants.
- Possess a comprehensive job bank, and/or the ability to leverage relationships to meet the needs of participants.
- Meet and understand the skills of VRS participants to identify barriers to employment, as well as how to best present them to employers.
- Produce weekly reports of cold calls and field visits, and conduct daily follow-up with employers to identify strengths, areas of improvement, and next steps.
- Design and create recruitment strategies, job fairs, on-site employer visits, and cyber info sessions for internet job search companies that operate and screen through automated methods.
- Enter case notes into SEAMS, HRA’s record management system, as well as Fedcap
CARES for VRS participant services. - Announce job leads weekly in workshops and work closely with Work Readiness Facilitators on follow-ups with consumer-referred interviews.
- Assist the retention unit to ensure all employment data is accurate and verified.
You're a great fit for this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of job development and/or placement experience in either the public or private sector.
- Sales experience with marketing and/or public relations experience preferred.
- Experience developing jobs for individuals with disabilities requiring special accommodations. Or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Compensation: $25.49-$26.45/hr./$53k-$55k annually
