Our global conglomerate client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Associate ($73,, plus 5% bonus DOE) with a hybrid work style – minimum 2 days in the office per week at an NYC Midtown location.

Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Associate provides essential administrative and coordination support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. This role manages job postings, screens applications, coordinates and facilitates interviews, supports candidate communications, maintains recruitment records, manages agency agreements, and assists with onboarding activities. The Associate partners closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for both candidates and stakeholders.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Prepare and post job advertisements on various platforms.
- Manage and track recruitment agency agreements and communications.
- Review applications and resumes to identify and shortlist qualified candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Manage interview logistics, including booking rooms, sending calendar invitations, and arranging necessary materials or equipment.
- Facilitate first‑round interviews (video or in‑person) as needed.
- Provide a positive candidate experience through clear and timely communication.
- Address and resolve scheduling issues (e.g., interview cancellations or conflicts).
- Draft and distribute offer letters and other recruitment‑related correspondence.
- Maintain and update the candidate database and applicant tracking systems.
- Maintain regular communication with recruiters, the Talent Acquisition Manager, and hiring managers to provide candidate status updates.
- Assist with background checks and reference verifications.
- Prepare new hire documentation and coordinate orientation schedules.
- Support integration activities to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the Talent & Culture Dept.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Problem‑solving ability
- Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
Preferred:
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Required:
- 1–3 years of experience in supporting recruitment/talent acquisition
- Previous experience in a corporate or agency recruitment setting
Preferred:
- SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
