We are The Phoenix Group, an executive search and staffing solutions firm offering contract, contract‑to‑hire, and direct‑hire services. As an expanding company in New York City, we are looking for associate recruiters who are passionate about sales, building client relationships, and achieving results in a fast‑paced environment.
Base Pay Range$50,000.00/yr – $/yr (actual pay will be based on skills and experience)
Job DescriptionAs an Associate Recruiter, you will balance team‑oriented collaboration with a competitive drive, initiating partnerships with clients and prospects while maintaining a robust candidate pipeline. You will learn to target candidates and clients through sourcing tools, screen and interview qualified candidates, partner with our Sales Reps to present candidates, execute recruiting processes from start to finish, and build trustworthy relationships with candidates and industry contacts.
Responsibilities- Persistently search, source, and screen potential candidates using multiple online resources.
- Conduct phone and video conversations professionally.
- Maintain accurate client and applicant records in the system.
- Achieve weekly and monthly hiring goals to ensure client satisfaction.
- Work closely with hiring managers to meet staffing needs.
- Support additional projects or functions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Develop close partnerships with clients to help their business grow.
- Manage the process from interview through offer stage.
- Make 75‑100 sales & recruiting calls a day.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- At least 1 year of B2B sales experience.
- Ambitious, motivated, and results‑driven.
- Strong interest in business development and sales.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline‑driven, fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems such as Bullhorn, Linked In Recruiter, Hire Ez, and Microsoft Office.
- Interest in cold calling.
