Director, Human Resources

Overview

Our client, a world-class real estate firm based in NYC, is seeking a Director, Human Resources
. The position is hybrid and based 4 out of 5 days per week at their beautiful Midtown, Manhattan office.

• Advance business goals by providing thought leadership and strategic guidance
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes
• Oversee payroll and benefits for employees in 20+ states
• Negotiate with insurance brokers and manage Open Enrollment process
• Lead performance and compensation analysis and reviews
• Oversee employee relations matters and liaise with Union partners
• Ensure departmental compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
• Salary Range: $185-200k annually, based on experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• SHRM or HCRI certification preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources leadership roles
• Preferred background in real estate, construction, asset management, or family office
• Must have strong Benefits experience
• Confident working with all levels of employees, leadership, and Union partners
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, local, state, and federal labor laws
• Highest standard of confidentiality and discretion
