HRIS/Benefits Generalist – Asset Management

This role is based in Midtown Manhattan, NY with a hybrid schedule: 2-3 days in the office.

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

Additional compensation: Annual Bonus

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office)

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 base + bonus

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented HRIS/Benefits Generalist to support our HR team with expertise in Workday and benefits administration. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days per week in our Midtown Manhattan office. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience managing HRIS systems and benefits programs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Workday / HRIS Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain employee data within Workday, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Execute Workday system updates, audits, and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with Payroll, HR, and IT teams to streamline HRIS processes and resolve system-related issues.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute HRIS reports to support decision-making.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and new feature implementations.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and managers on Workday functionality.
Benefits Administration Responsibilities
  • Administer and support employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries and troubleshoot employee issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with benefits vendors to ensure accurate enrollments, changes, and renewals.
  • Lead annual benefits enrollment processes and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with benefits audits and documentation to maintain plan compliance.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of combined experience in HRIS (Workday required) and employee benefits administration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot HRIS and benefits issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with 2-3 days onsite in Midtown Manhattan.

  • Hybrid work schedule with flexibility and 2-3 days onsite per week in Midtown Manhattan.
