Outtake exists to empower and facilitate trust for a digital-first world. Today, impersonation, fraud, AI-driven scams, and identity abuse spread faster than any security team can respond to. So we built something different: an agentic AI platform that proactively detects, monitors and takes down impersonators and automates protection in hours, not weeks.
Built by ex-Palantir, ex-CTO/founders, and ex-Notion engineers, Outtake is designed for clarity, autonomy, and velocity. Our goal is ambitious: become the trust layer of the modern internet. And we intend to do it with a lean, dense, exceptionally talented team.
About You:The Role
Outtake is looking for its first Talent Acquisition Lead, a builder who will design, own, and execute our hiring strategy end-to-end. We’re seeking someone who’s scaled a high-growth tech company from the early-stage through pre-ipo, and knows what it takes to attract, assess, and close exceptional talent across technical and business functions.
This person will play a central role in defining how Outtake grows, architecting a recruiting engine that’s data-driven, automated, and built to scale. The ideal candidate has a technical recruiting background, fluency in modern recruiting tech stacks (ATS, sourcing tools, AI assistants), and the creativity to turn our ambitious headcount goals into a repeatable, high-velocity process.
The right person thrives in ambiguity, loves systems thinking, and is eager to build a next-generation recruiting machine from the ground up.
What You’ll Do- Own and drive Outtake’s full-cycle recruiting strategy across technical and business roles.
- Partner with leadership define headcount plans, hiring priorities, and measurable goals that align with company growth targets.
- Architect a scalable, mostly automated recruiting system leveraging AI, ATS, and sourcing tools.
- Identify and eliminate manual processes, from sourcing to scheduling, through workflow automation.
- Build and maintain dashboards that track funnel metrics, conversion rates, and time-to-fill across roles.
- Lead searches for key technical and leadership positions while supporting hiring across all functions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role scopes, evaluation rubrics, and interview processes.
- Help shape Outtake’s employer brand through content, campaigns, and community engagement.
- Deliver a world-class candidate experience that reflects Outtake’s mission, values, and pace.
- 5–8 years of recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical or GTM roles.
- Proven success scaling a high-growth startup from Series A to Series C (or equivalent trajectory).
- Deep familiarity with recruiting software, ATS platforms, sourcing automation, and AI-enabled tools.
- A systems thinker who loves to design repeatable, automated processes that eliminate manual work.
- Analytical mindset – able to use data to forecast hiring needs and optimize performance.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the org.
- A builder’s mentality: scrappy, fast-moving, and comfortable in ambiguity.
- Passion for startups, technology, and the art of connecting great people with meaningful work.
Outtake is backed by top-tier investors and operators who believe in our mission and our model: a lean, dense, exceptionally talented team building a category-defining product. With strong financial footing and a long runway, we prioritize creating an environment where people can do the best work of their careers.
- Office: We are an in-person team (5 days a week, with flexibility as needed) working out of a stunning waterfront office in Brooklyn. Collaboration, speed, and clarity matter.
- Health: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision for employees.
