This position is located at Outdoor Recreation for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York..

We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of Soldiers and their Families by providing essential support services and recreational activities that directly contribute to Soldier readiness and well-being.

Incentives and Bonuses

Duties
  • Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas.
  • Sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, scrubs, washes and polishes fixtures and furniture, walls, lanai glass and doors, equipment and furnishings in assigned guest rooms and other areas using a variety of cleaning solutions.
  • Empties trash and restocks room condiments and supplies.
  • Cleans utility, laundry and vending rooms.
Requirements
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
  • A physical examination, arranged by the employer, is required prior to employment. Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
  • Must be willing to accept intermittent, on-call employment.
  • Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
  • Work schedule will be irregular, and the incumbent will be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or unique events.
  • The incumbent may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or unique events.
  • Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.
