This position receives a competitive hourly pay + tips. Paychecks are delivered weekly and we are very flexible with scheduling. PM shifts available.

Aetna Coverage, with Vision and Dental included. $150 monthly premium for qualifying full time employees.

EBERLY is currently hiring host + reservationists. Within Eberly you will discover a beautiful dining room offering contemporary American cuisine, a welcoming study, a rooftop terrace overlooking downtown, and our crown jewel, the historic Cedar Tavern bar of Greenwich Village in New York City. We are a fine dining restaurant, but we are sure to create an atmosphere that invites and welcomes everyone.

The ideal Host is the personal representation of Eberly hospitality. They are the first thing people see when they walk in the door. They are warm, energetic, presentable, and friendly. It is the Host's responsibility to welcome, inform guests of any wait times, and seat guests in a timely fashion.

• 1-2 years of experience in the food service industry preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform a variety of duties with extreme care, concern, and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with supervisor, fellow employees, and guests.
• Ability to effectively listen, follow instructions, and adjust to changing conditions.
• Exhibits a pleasant personality and commitment to guest service.
• This is a tipped position.

• Accurately capture and record guest information.
• Perform sidework and set-up duties as assigned.
• Organize online reservation system before and during shift.
• Seat guests according to floor plan and reservation.
• Maintain professional appearance as an ambassador of Eberly.
• Eberly is open to the public seven days a week. Availability will be required between 2-11p, in times are flexible. We look forward to meeting you.
