AboutThe Role
The Executive Steward supports in overseeing all facets of the Stewarding Department. The Executive Steward ensures proper usage and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment used in the Stewarding Department. This person must also set‑up and maintain inventory of supplies, plan and budget the purchasing of china, glassware, and silverware for the entire F&B division. In addition, this person coordinates, hires, trains, disciplines, and supervises the Stewarding staff.
We are looking for individuals who have prior knowledge of kitchen and floor cleaning equipment and management experience in working with banquets, restaurants, or kitchens.
- Execute all tasks of each steward position in the department.
- Assist in the selecting, training, scheduling and payroll of all Stewarding department employees.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewards to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
- Ensure the proper use of and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment used by the Stewarding department.
- Ensure the neatness, cleanliness and order of all kitchens, back of the house areas, storage areas, employee dining room, Stewarding Department machinery, compactor room, carts and tables through constant monitoring and a vigorous cleaning schedule.
- Assure proper sanitation and hygiene techniques as well as the movement of garbage throughout the hotel.
- Maintain the wash ware operation to ensure proper supply of clean silverware.
- Flexibility to support other Food & Beverage outlets as needed is required.
- 2-3 years previous F&B management experience needed
- Previous stewarding experience required
- Previous experience in a union environment preferred

This role is a full time, on‑site role.
Compensation85,000 - 95,000 Annual Salary
