Location: New York

We are seeking a polished, hands-on Banquet & Events Operations Manager to lead the execution of high-touch events within a prestigious private club and luxury residential environment in the heart of the city. This is an exciting opportunity for an operations-driven hospitality leader who thrives in an intimate, elevated service setting rather than large convention-style venues.

This role oversees event management across the club’s event spaces, including a stunning penthouse venue accommodating up to 200 guests, as well as executive boardrooms and private dining rooms. The property is known for creatively transforming its spaces to deliver memorable, highly personalized experiences.

When events are not in progress, this leader will provide operational management support within the club’s restaurants and bars, ensuring consistent service standards, team leadership, and guest experience excellence throughout the building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end event operations, from setup through execution and breakdown
  • Ensure flawless service delivery for social events, corporate functions, private dining, and club programming
  • Collaborate closely with culinary, service, and leadership teams to align execution with client expectations
  • Manage staffing, floor leadership, and service flow during events
  • Maintain high-level service standards consistent with an upscale club environment
  • Provide leadership oversight in restaurants and bars during non-event periods
  • Support team development, coaching, and accountability across departments
  • Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence throughout all spaces
Ideal Background
  • 3–6+ years of banquet, events, or upscale restaurant operations leadership experience
  • Experience in private clubs, luxury hotels, or high-end event-driven venues preferred
  • Strong floor presence with the ability to lead service teams in fast-paced environments
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable managing both events and a la carte restaurant/bar operations
  • Professional, polished, and guest-focused leadership style
