Private estate seeks a polished and versatile Butler to oversee and deliver exceptional service at their Monroe, NY property, which includes a dedicated corporate entertainment and dining space. This is a full‑time, year‑round position, with a schedule consisting of Monday–Friday, primarily focused on supporting daytime corporate hospitality with flexibility for evening events and weekends as needed. The role blends hands‑on food and beverage service, event support, household coordination, and light personal assistant duties.
The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented, adaptable, and organized with a hands‑on, team‑oriented approach. They are personable yet polished, energetic and positive, and capable of creating a seamless, high‑quality hospitality experience for both corporate and private needs. The estate is looking for a professional who embodies discretion, warmth, and a consistently positive attitude while maintaining the polished, service‑oriented environment that defines
their property.
Responsibilities- Administer all elements of hospitality, food, and beverage service within the residence and corporate space
- Provide formal and informal lunch, dinner, and beverage service for principals, staff, and guests
- Coordinate and support corporate events, meetings, and private functions, including set‑up, guest greeting,
- and seamless service
- Manage the wine cellar and oversee inventory of specialty beverages and supplies
- Collaborate with household and corporate staff to plan and execute events and day‑to‑day operations
- Assist with personal shopping, errands, and concierge tasks as needed
- Manage outside contractors and vendors for household or event‑related services
- Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times while fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere
- Perform light housekeeping when needed to ensure all spaces remain guest‑ready
- Strong command of the English language with superb written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent references from current and/or previous employers
- Minimum 5+ years’ related experience in private residences, luxury hotels, private clubs, or corporate hospitality settings
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong time management, punctuality, and multi‑tasking skills
- Knowledge and comfort with both casual and formal dining service
- Ability to remain on your feet and work extended hours when required
- Professional mindset and manner; utmost discretion at all times
- Positive, warm, and supportive personality with a “no task too big or too small” attitude
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
$120,000–$160,000 annually, plus benefits
