Job SummaryThe Assistant General Manager will oversee daily operations of the premium lounge, supporting the Sapphire Lounge by The Club ponsibilities include managing guest experiences, staffing, scheduling, compliance with TSA and local regulations, and achieving financial targets. The role requires a hands‑on approach and leadership in a seven‑day operation, with availability for weekends and holidays.
Job Responsibilities- Lead daily operations and ensure high‑level guest service.
- Manage front‑line team, oversee inventory and supply for lounge areas.
- Recruit, hire, counsel, and terminate staff; schedule, payroll, and train staff.
- Develop and mentor front‑line and management personnel.
- Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards; conduct safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with TSA, local regulations, and company policies.
- Track and report maintenance issues; coordinate with vendors.
- Drive financial performance to meet company and client targets.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Management experience in fine dining, hotel, or upscale hospitality for 2–4 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work a seven‑day schedule.
- Financial acumen and business‑orientation.
- Excellent presentation and computer skills (MS Office).
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and move moderate loads on a regular basis.
- Valid alcohol and food‑handler certifications as required; ability to pass airport security background check.
