Under general guidance, operate computed tomography to assist in the safe and efficient diagnosis and assessment of patient conditions, in accordance with established procedures. This role will operate in a state‑of‑the‑art mobile CT truck, performing diagnostic imaging procedures on patients in various locations within New York City. Primary duties include operating the mobile CT scanner, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring image quality.

• On hire: $2,500
• After 6 months: $5,000
• After 1 year: $2,500

• Greets registered patients at time of visit and triages patients through the patient flow process.
• Checks schedules and accompanies patients to exam/procedure room, assisting with walking, transfers, dressing, and preparation.
• Reviews and verifies patient identity, history and requisition for exam.
• Takes appropriate scans to determine areas of possible pathology, modifying parameters under direction.
• Explains procedure to patient before and during scan and answers questions.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
