Responsibilities- Participate in the development of clinical onboarding trainings and overall onboarding requirements
- Facilitate new hire clinical onboarding trainings focused on best practices and clinical skills to assess symptoms/diagnoses and risk, treatment plan, and general skills for providing clinical care for counselors' caseloads.
- Observe sessions with new clinical staff, providing feedback on strengths and areas for improvement, which includes documentation completed for the sessions you observe
- Assist new hires to develop caseload management skills and understand the resources available to them (e.g., reports, office hours, etc.)
- Document staff development including strengths and areas for growth
- Collaborate with Program Director/Clinical Supervisors to share feedback and assist in the development of any follow-up plans / additional assistance requests
- Collaborate and routinely communicate with Horizon University and Employee Services regarding incoming new hires and any scheduling accommodations, non-traditional work schedules and how best to assist / tailer their onboarding training and support.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and clinical best practices to provide appropriate feedback to staff
- Participate / assist with clinical initiatives and roll outs
- Identify overall trends / gaps relative to new hires’ training needs and areas for improvement based on your work with and feedback from new hire staff

- Master's Degree required.
- QHP required; LCSW, LMSW, LMHC preferred.
- 2-3 years of clinical experience required; advanced clinical training / experience preferred.
- Clinical knowledge of child/adolescent population desired.
- Training / mentoring experience preferred.
