Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.
  • Experience: Previous hands-on experience in a clinical healthcare setting is required.

    Skills:

    Proficient knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Strong clinical skills, including vital signs, phlebotomy, and patient preparation.
  • Language: Must be bilingual in Spanish.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational ability, empathy, and a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients, obtain and accurately record vital signs, and document patient history in the EMR.
  • Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, administering EKGs, and preparing lab specimens.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks as needed.
  • Provide clear communication and instructions to patients in both English and Spanish, ensuring comfort and understanding.
