Position: Long Term Care Account Specialist - Long Island, NY
Location: New York

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Drive education, access, and adoption of Neurocrine products within post-acute and long-term care settings
  • Develop and implement detailed account plans for assigned facilities to enhance product acceptance and sales growth
  • Establish and maintain communication with external prescribers, internal stakeholders, and LTC pharmacies
  • Navigate clinical, regulatory, and reimbursement barriers to ensure timely therapy initiation and continuation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor account-specific solutions and ensure consistent messaging
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BS/BA degree in science or related field and 4+ years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care sales
  • Strong sales and account management skills with proven record of sales performance and goal achievement
  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance environments
  • Must reside within assigned territory and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Proficient in business systems and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Oracle)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Sales experience in long-term care or institutional settings
  • Background in neurology, psychiatry, or movement disorders
  • Familiarity with Cover My Meds  and LTC pharmacy fulfillment
  • Knowledge of CMS guidelines affecting psychotropic medication use in skilled nursing facilities
  • Experience launching products in complex, competitive markets
