- Develop and implement detailed account plans for assigned facilities to enhance product acceptance and sales growth
- Establish and maintain communication with external prescribers, internal stakeholders, and LTC pharmacies
- Navigate clinical, regulatory, and reimbursement barriers to ensure timely therapy initiation and continuation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor account-specific solutions and ensure consistent messaging
- BS/BA degree in science or related field and 4+ years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care sales
- Strong sales and account management skills with proven record of sales performance and goal achievement
- Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance environments
- Must reside within assigned territory and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Proficient in business systems and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Oracle)
- Sales experience in long-term care or institutional settings
- Background in neurology, psychiatry, or movement disorders
- Familiarity with Cover My Meds and LTC pharmacy fulfillment
- Knowledge of CMS guidelines affecting psychotropic medication use in skilled nursing facilities
- Experience launching products in complex, competitive markets
