Direct Support Professionals; DSP

We are looking for experienced Community Habilitation Specialists who enjoy working with people in need. Our Com Habs are responsible for assisting with daily living skills, socialization, community outings, medication administration, and many other tasks.

What are the WORK EXPERIENCE requirements?
The ideal candidate will have a background in education or healthcare, and possess excellent communication skills and a desire to help others.

What are the RESPONSIBILITIES
?

• Perform assessments on residents
• Teach residents living skills
• Communicate with staff to coordinate care plans
• Ensure residents are safe and well cared for
• Supervise residents during activities outside their rooms
• Create daily schedules for group activities
• Be actively friendly to residents, family members, and coworkers

What are the EDUCATION requirements?

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (training provided)
