Program Director
Salary: $95,000 – $116,000 per year

RoleThe Program Director is responsible for the overall clinical management and administrative operations of the assigned program(s), ensuring quality clinical services and effective communication between program staff and agency administration.
What You Will Do- Monitor the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the program’s clinical services and the safety of the environment of care.
- Help develop, implement, and deploy agency policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to program staff.
- Interview, hire, and train clinical and administrative staff, including needed personnel management.
- Provide administrative supervision for plant operations and ensure a safe and secure environment of care.
- Ensure clinical staff maintain accurate, complete, and timely records that comply with regulatory standards and agency policies.
- Monitor metrics such as staff productivity, billing compliance, budget or contract measures, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure all program staff uphold agency policies and comply with all Federal, State, Local, and regulatory agency laws and regulations (CARF, JCAHO).
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Nursing, or related advanced degree.
- Clinical licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD, NP, or RN with relevant experience.
- Preferred:
Master’s degree with an OASAS CASAC certification (Advanced or Master Level) and OASAS Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II (30 hours). - At least 4 years of experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment.
- At least 3 years of administrative/supervisory experience in addiction and/or mental health.
- Knowledge of evidence‑based treatments, managed care principles, and behavioral practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and EHR.
- Seminar in Field Instructions (SIFI) preferred or willingness to obtain within one year from hire.
- Knowledge of OASAS, OMH, CSAT guidance.
- Ability to implement and monitor policy and procedure in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Knowledgeable about Federal, state, and local law and regulation governing substance abuse treatment programs.
