Patient Services Representative- Pediatric

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Contract Patient Services Representative - Pediatric to join their team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be part of the Patient Services Department supporting the dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Contract Patient Services Representative - Pediatric

Location: New York, NY

Pay Range: $28 - $30 per hour

• Provide the first level of customer service to patients of the dental clinic, from greeting and routing patients to record maintenance and cashier duties.
• Monitor daily clinic operations, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
• Assign and review work of student and/or casual employees engaged in routine tasks.
• Schedule follow-up examinations and arrange for substitute patients as cancellations occur.
• Handle inquiries requiring additional investigation and/or specialized knowledge.

• Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or pediatric setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to triage emergencies effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and files.
