Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 3 years.

• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

• BSN completion required

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Facility:
Weill Cornell Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - New York Presbyterian.

Additional Details:

For units that auto offer : A maximum of 5 days RTO and no holidays will be approved automatically. RTO over 5 days and holiday requests will have to be reviewed by the facility, which will delay the process.

Floating Requirements: To areas within acuity. Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 02/16/2026, 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/18/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0

4 references from any number of months (Any reference type) - 2 required for submission
