Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) - Nursing Home Setting

Location: Bronx, NY

Pay Rate: $55-$63 per hour

Schedule: Full-time

We are currently seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving the quality of life for our residents through patient‑centered care and collaboration with a supportive interdisciplinary team.

• Conduct evaluations and re‑evaluations for residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with resident goals and clinical findings.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and therapy teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
• Document all services provided in accordance with federal, state, and facility guidelines.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and dysphagia precautions.

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current SLP license in the state of New York.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are also encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long‑term care setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
