Alvita Care is a mission-driven Home Healthcare & Personal Care Agency with four branches and over 500 caregivers. We provide relief and assurance to family members in the areas of In‑Home Personal Care, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care, Palliative & Hospice Care, and Geriatric Care Management. Alvita Care clients are all private‑pay and we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

All applicants are subject to a phone screening to determine compatibility and overall availability for both the caregiver and the agency. Cases with Alvita Care are only available to caregivers who successfully complete the onboarding process.

• Valid HHA/PCA certification in the state of NY.
• Minimum 1 year experience with dementia / Alzheimer’s clients (Required).
• Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain them.
• Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form.
• Must successfully complete Alvita Care process to accept cases.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviors with care.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate.
• Memory Care, Palliative, ADL, and transfer experience are all a plus.

• Provide advanced dementia care and support to seniors with memory needs.
• Perform hands‑on support and person‑centered care, including assistance with ADLs and transfers.
• Work daytime shifts with a stable schedule.

• Per diem schedule options available.
• 6‑12 hour daytime shifts (overnight shifts occasionally available).
• Weekend availability and flexibility with shifts.
• Supportive and respectful work environment.
• Pay ranges from $19.10 to $20.00 per hour.
• Weekly paycheck on Fridays (direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check).
