We are searching for a Full Time Patient Care Coordinator/ Front Office Administrator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Clinical Director, the Patient Care Coordinator performs clerical and receptionist duties, combined with patient tasks to assist the therapist(s). The most suitable candidates will be professional, energetic, attentive to details, well organized and possess an understanding of confidentiality and discretion.
EssentialFunctions
- Greet patients and assist patients in and out of therapy area.
- Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the facility.
- Maintain responsibility for general administrative support.
- Answer telephones, screen and refer incoming calls.
- Aid in the treatment and care of patients in a manner consistent with the American Occupational Therapy / Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and New York Occupational Therapy / Physical Therapy Practice Act.
- Prepare equipment for treatment as needed by the Therapist(s).
- Maintain facility records and filing, consistent with company procedures.
- Work with the billing department to ensure that all billing information is correct.
- Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the facility.
- HIPAA Compliance
- Bachelors Degree/ Associates Degree or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
