Alvita Care is a mission-driven Home Healthcare & Personal Care Agency with four branches and over 500 caregivers. We provide relief and assurance to family members in the areas of In-Home Personal Care, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Palliative & Hospice Care, and Geriatric Care Management.
We earn The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. Clients are all private-pay; we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
Qualifications- Valid HHA/PCA certification in the state of NY.
- Minimum 1 year experience with dementia / Alzheimer's clients (Required).
- Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain.
- Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form.
- Complex care experience preferred (dementia, behavioral, high-dependency). Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviors with care.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Memory Care, Palliative, ADL, and transfer experience are all a plus.
- Full-time, part-time, & per diem schedule options available.
- 6–12 hour day shifts; overnights available occasionally.
- Weekend availability and flexibility with shifts.
- Supportive and respectful work environment.
- Pay ranges from $19.10–20.00/hour.
- Weekly paycheck on Fridays (direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check).

Provide compassionate, high-quality care for complex, high-dependency clients in the home setting. Perform daily personal care, assist with ADL & IADL, monitor behavior, administer medications, and maintain accurate client records. Communicate with families and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain a safe, clean, respectful environment.
