We are seeking a Physical Therapist for our preschool program located in Middletown, NY. The role involves determining and implementing appropriate physical therapy programs for students under the supervision of school administration.
Schedule:Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm; 32.5 hours per week, 48 weeks per year. Follows the school calendar (September – June), with a 6-week summer program.
Salary Range:$78,000-$85,800 annually with master's degree; $93,600-$101,400 with Ph.D. credit for experience including ATP, NDT & SI Certification.
Additional Compensation:$10,000 sign-on/retention bonus payable in two installments, with a commitment to remain with the agency for a specified period. Contact our recruiter for full details.
Responsibilities Include:- Evaluating students and determining program goals.
- Providing direct treatment and scheduling caseloads.
- Submitting documentation and reassessing student progress.
- Assessing equipment needs and collaborating with staff and parents.
- Supervising and training staff and students as assigned.
- Participating in meetings and maintaining treatment sites.
- Adhering to professional standards and continuing education requirements.
- Performing other related activities as needed.

- Doctoral or master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited school.
- License or eligibility for licensure in NYS.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely.
- Valid NYS driver’s license.
- Entry level, full-time position in health care services within the individual and family services industry.
