What You Will Be Doing

• As the Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in coordinating healthcare services and supporting residents in their recovery and wellness journey.
• You will provide both direct nursing care and client education, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care and patient education in a sub-acute residential environment.
• Conduct client triage and support both medical and psychiatric appointments.
• Facilitate psycho educational seminars and provide accurate medical information.
• Utilize technology systems to document care and communicate effectively.
• Train staff on medication access procedures and conduct quality assurance reviews.
• Ensure safe storage and disposal of all medications.
• Coordinate care between internal teams and external healthcare providers.
• Lead client orientations, administer screening tools, and manage appointment schedules.
• Participate in case conferences and training seminars.

What You Will Need

• Active Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Experience working in substance use disorder or behavioral health settings.
• Experience in sub-acute residential care preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
• Proficient with general computer systems and documentation tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• BSN from an accredited institution is preferred.
