Transporter, Patient Care Technician

Evening Shift – 7.5 Hours (United States of America)

• Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed between departments (e.g., radiology, surgery, discharge).
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and transferring patients as needed.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport.
• Deliver medical equipment, specimens, and supplies to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of transport equipment.
• Respond promptly to transport requests via dispatch systems.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with nursing and clinical staff regarding patient needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment safely.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Fast-paced hospital setting.
• Frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Interaction with patients of all ages and conditions.
• May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Salary Range: $25.135/hr - $26.462/hr
