Position

Unit Clerk — provides administrative support to the clinic staff, greets and assists patients with their appointments, and ensures patients  charts are in order in accordance with Medicare and company policies and procedures.

Schedule

Full-time, five 8-hour shifts starting at 8am;
Sundays off; no overnight shifts.

Compensation

Pay range from $18-$24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

  • Enter treatment information into the MIS.
  • Initiate, maintain, and complete the medical record.
  • Assist in other data-related needs, which may include entering episodes of care and responding to data requests from the Network or DCI.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes as requested.
  • Maintain accurate treatment statistics, including treatment dates, hospital dates, no-show information, and absence information; provide reports to the nurse manager or area operations director.
  • May perform receptionist duties, including sorting and distributing mail, answering and routing phone calls, greeting and directing visitors, and other clerical duties.
  • Work with integrity; uphold organizational goals and values.
  • React under pressure; accept responsibility for own actions.
  • Use equipment and materials properly; adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with accuracy and thoroughness.
Qualifications

Education/Training:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Should have knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
