Amelia Home Care is seeking compassionate, dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide exceptional in-home care to clients across various settings. This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals who need assistance with daily activities and medical needs while helping them maintain independence and quality of life. We value caregivers with strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospice.
HHAs in this role will work closely with healthcare teams and must adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and safety.
- Valid HHA Certificate
- MUST SPEAK BENGALI
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Consistent, reliable, and timely attendance
- Strong desire and compassion for caring for others
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (cleaning, laundry)
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Previous Home Health Aide experience preferred
- Ability to work with individuals with special needs or medical conditions
- Strong communication skills with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding medical records and sensitive information
