Pay Range: $75,000.00–$95,000.00 per year.
Duties & Responsibilities- Performs software and systems analysis to determine alternative computer software programs for discharge activities.
- Maintains liaison with key officials in Corporate Information Systems division and external contractors, vendors, consultants, and hospital departments.
- Coordinates system activities with Physician advisory committees to develop and incorporate components of PSRO.
- Performs feasibility studies for new system development or changes to existing systems.
- Prepares comprehensive reports generated from system operations regarding scheduling and allocation of medical resources for quality assurance programs.
- Develops and trains corporate and staff personnel in the use of automated systems and computer applications.
- Provides advisory services to other organizational units to ensure integration with quality assurance programs.
- Establishes and maintains SPARCS database corporation‑wide.
- Participates in staff meetings and conferences.
- Baccalaureate degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or an approved systems‑related program.
- Six years of full‑time paid experience in business, government, hospital, educational institution, or non‑profit organization in the development, analysis, and implementation of systems and subsystems, manual and computer applications; two years in a supervisory, administrative, or consultative capacity.
- Master’s degree in the programs listed above, and five years of full‑time paid experience, with one year at supervisory, administrative, or consultative level.
- Satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
