Position: Full-time research assistant for Dr. Mark Drakos
Location: Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, NY
Research Focus: Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgery
OverviewThe research assistant (RA) is an integral member of Dr. Mark Drakos’s team who participates in all aspects of research management, scientific study, manuscript preparation, authorship, and quality assurance of Foot & Ankle clinical research. The RA will have the opportunity to shadow orthopedic attendings in clinical and surgical settings.
QualificationsA qualified candidate has exceptional written and oral communication skills and utilizes these skills in an effective manner to interface with a broad range of surgeons, clinical staff, management, external sponsors, and patients at HSS.
Minimum requirementsEducation/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree
Experience/
Skills:
- Experience in clinical research
- Proficient use of computers and software
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
