We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care through precise radiation treatment. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong clinical experience, technical knowledge, and a passion for supporting patients and team members in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities- Ensure all therapy treatments are delivered accurately.
- Review charts weekly for accurate documentation.
- Assess the competency of other staff members.
- Monitor productivity and communicate findings to the Radiation Therapist (Level II) and/or the Supervisor of Radiation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to Staff Therapists for new or complex procedures.
- Orient and provide in-service training for new employees.
- Communicate effectively with less experienced therapists regarding patient care, documentation, and work ethics.
- Maintain department supplies.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in Radiation Therapy
USD $59.15 - USD $77.09 per hour
