Radiation Therapist - Level 1

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care through precise radiation treatment. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong clinical experience, technical knowledge, and a passion for supporting patients and team members in a collaborative healthcare environment.

• Ensure all therapy treatments are delivered accurately.
• Review charts weekly for accurate documentation.
• Assess the competency of other staff members.
• Monitor productivity and communicate findings to the Radiation Therapist (Level II) and/or the Supervisor of Radiation.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to Staff Therapists for new or complex procedures.
• Orient and provide in-service training for new employees.
• Communicate effectively with less experienced therapists regarding patient care, documentation, and work ethics.
• Maintain department supplies.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• 1-3 years of clinical experience in Radiation Therapy

USD $59.15 - USD $77.09 per hour
