Nurse Practitioner - NP - Per Diem – Behavioral Health – Rotating at New York-Presbyterian Hospital

Join our Behavioral Health service line as a Nurse Practitioner at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. You will conduct psychiatric assessments of adults, children and adolescents with behavioral health disorders in the ED and on inpatient units, collaborate with other professionals to determine optimal care settings, and provide triage and consult services. The position is on a rotating shift schedule covering days, nights and weekends.

• PMH NP with at least 2 years of experience
• Previous RN or NP experience in Behavioral Health

• Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health Advanced Practice
• New York State Registered Nurse License
• Board Certification as PMH NP
• Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Strong communication, interpersonal and triage skills

Please note that this role requires on‑site presence; all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range: $98.55–$5/Hourly.
