Job OverviewAs a Sterilization & Monitoring Specialist, you will serve as a trusted infection prevention advisor and primary contact to key hospital stakeholders in sterile processing, patient care areas, quality, and beyond. You will help ensure that every solution we create melds the latest technology with compassion and empathy, and drives product adoption and standardization across healthcare settings.
Impact & Responsibilities- Manage relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders.
- Deliver sustainable business growth based on sales targets through account and territory management.
- Use data and analytics to inform business planning.
- Identify and solve customer financial & clinical priorities & constraints.
- Leverage hospital network & various contacts to identify expansion and conversion opportunities.
- Persuade key stakeholders at accounts to advocate for proposed solutions and products.
- Increase mix of NPIs.
- Collaborate with channel/distribution/kitting partners to manage relationships and align on mutually beneficial tactics/programs.
- Offer new and ongoing in‑servicing, education, technical support and troubleshooting product‑related issues as needed.
- Leverage publications and industry guidelines to influence product adoption and standardization.
- Drive contract compliance and standardization opportunities.
- Consult with clinicians on safe and effective use of products.
- Demonstrate proficiency upon successful completion of sales training program.
- Leverage company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking.
- Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
Use a personal vehicle for company business and participate in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program. Candidates must successfully complete a pre‑hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility, including compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign‑off.
Your Skills & Expertise- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
- High School Diploma/GED AND 4 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
- Proven track record of quota & target attainment.
- Prior healthcare sales/clinical experience.
- Proven experience in territory management & business planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers.
- Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas.
- Understanding of the domain of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and asepsis.
- Customer‑focused selling and closing.
- Experience navigating complex selling cycles.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.
- Experience using a CRM (Salesforce).
- Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process.
- Experience collaborating with distribution channel partners.
- Outstanding data and analytical skills.
You may be required to enter healthcare or other third‑party facilities. Those facilities may, in turn, require you to possess certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications (collectively “prerequisites to entry”). Work Location & Travel- Remote.
- Field‑based role with up to 20% overnight travel anticipated (may vary based on territory).
