We are seeking a Vice President to lead high‑profile healthcare accounts, drive strategic communications initiatives, and manage teams in delivering best‑in‑class client service. This role requires deep healthcare communications expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to provide high‑level strategic counsel to clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing integrated communications campaigns, managing complex projects, and leading teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing high-level strategic counsel on healthcare communications.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated communications strategies to support pharmaceutical company brand and reputation, with awareness and knowledge of industry trends in oncology.
  • Anticipate client needs, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams, collaborating with creative, media, and digital specialists to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for organic account growth, leading business development efforts as needed.
  • Participate in new business pitches and proposals, helping to expand the agency’s healthcare portfolio.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Provide clear guidance and strategic direction to teams, empowering them to deliver high‑quality work.
  • Champion a collaborative and inclusive team environment, driving excellence across client accounts.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of health communications experience (agency or in‑house preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in strategic communications planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical products oncology, or healthcare regulatory environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience leading multi-channel communications campaigns across earned, owned, and paid media.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts, projects, and teams effectively.
