Temporary Patient Service Representative; Bilingual- Spanish​/English- Specialty

We are currently hiring Bilingual (Spanish/English) TEMP to PERM
Patient Service Representatives (PSR) to join our Specialty
Department at El Nuevo San Juan Health Center
. The Patient Service Presentative provides information, support, encouragement, and assistance to patients and families as they arrive at the health care facility. This role greets and registers patients and visitors, verifies and records patient information, and provides comfort and empathy to patients while maintaining the waiting room. This role provides accurate and consistent information to patients, schedule appointments, and resolves patient concerns.

• High School Diploma required
• 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients.
• Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

$18.75 per hour based on 40 hours per week ($39,000 annualized).

Applicants must be comfortable working onsite, based out of The Bronx and have availability to commit to a schedule of 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday with E/O Saturday or Tuesday through Saturday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
