Position OverviewWe are seeking a Medical Director specializing in Addiction Medicine to lead their substance use treatment program in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This leadership position requires specialized training in addiction medicine and offers competitive compensation with flexible scheduling options.

- Licensure: Active New York State Medical License
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in addiction medicine; leadership experience preferred
- Requirements: Active Medicaid provider number;
Active DEA certification - Language: Spanish proficiency preferred

Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, program development - Soft Skills: Leadership, cultural competence, empathy, strong communication, collaborative approach
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the addiction medicine program
- Develop and implement treatment protocols and quality standards
- Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide direct patient care, including medication-assisted treatment
- Maintain active Medicaid provider status and DEA certification
- Collaborate with community partners and referral sources
- Ensure culturally competent care for a diverse patient population
