Sentara Therapy Center Suffolk YMCA is looking for a Full-time Day Physical Therapist Assistant.

• As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Sentara, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
• Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

• Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required), obtained in a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program
• Holds a current Physical Therapist Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification
• American Heart Association (AHA)
• RQI American Heart Association (AHA)

• 2 years
