Histotechnologist – Surgical Pathology – Full Time – Days
As one of the largest and busiest Anatomic Pathology labs in New York, New York‑Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center has set the standard for our field, and provides our team with a high level of clinical interaction. Our Histology lab enables expedited processing, including a large volume of diversified specimens including Dermatology, Hematology, Surgical, Renal Cytology, and Autopsy.
We are seeking a motivated grossing professional who is looking to take the next step in their career. Perform all routine procedures as a Histotechnologist to include embedding, cutting, staining, cover‑slipping, labeling, special staining and distribution using state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
This is a full‑time day shift position working 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday. Location is our Weill Cornell campus on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Preferred Criteria- At least one year experience in Histology
- Experience with special staining procedures
- Associates Degree in Science and completion of an approved Histology accredited program OR a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education Department or certified as a Histology Technician, Clinical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist
- Must obtain the License within 6 months of hire
$54.20–$60.50/Hourly

Additional InformationPlease note that all roles require on‑site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
