Patient Care Technician

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to assist patients under the direction and supervision of medical professionals. The primary goal is to support patients with tasks they cannot perform independently, such as mobilization, bathing, eating, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Specimen collection, drawing blood, obtaining blood glucose levels, EKG, vital signs, and data for intake and output.
• Performing constant observation, safety rounds, and providing daily living assistance; engaging in meaningful patient interactions.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment; responding to patient call bells and answering phones.
• Ordering, maintaining, and organizing supplies; performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician experience.
• Strong patient care experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.

Skills

• Medical Assistant, Home Health Aide, or EMT background is preferred.
