Assignment Duration: 12 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking a qualified Pathologist Assistant to support the Surgical Pathology department on an 11-week assignment. The Pathologist Assistant will assist pathologists with specimen examination and preparation while ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
RequirementsActive New York State licensure as a Pathologist Assistant
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Pathologist Assistant program, or equivalent program as determined by the New York State Education Department
OR Bachelor's or higher degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program
0–3 years of related experience in a pathology setting required
Fellow of the American Association of Pathologists' Assistants (AAPA) – preferred
ASCP certification – preferred
