Hand Therapist

Salary: $85,000 - $108,000/Year (commensurate with experience)

Sign-on bonuses available

Job Location: 2 Crosfield Avenue, West Nyack, NY (Rockland County; outpatient clinic)

Job Type: Full-time (Mon–Fri; 40 hours/week) – Schedule is flexible to a degree
, with any adjustments needing to support team and clinic operations.

• Dedicated Therapy Aides to assist with patient care, empowering you to focus on delivering exceptional physical therapy outcomes

As a OT - Hand Therapist, You’ll Achieve Success By:

• Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
• Recording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed

Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist Requirements:

• Licensed in NYS as an Occupational Therapist
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification required

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred OR

  • CHT-eligible (minimum 4,000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of practice
    ),
    awaiting board examination
    , OR

  • Level II fieldwork in hand therapy
    , with relevant continuing education
    , and 1–2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience as a licensed OT

• Experience or familiarity with orthopedic hand therapy preferred; exposure to pediatric orthopedic patients and occasional pediatric cases is a plus
  , though not required
