A well-established, patient-focused concierge wellness practice is seeking a full-time Exercise Physiologist to join their clinic. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a high-touch, personalized care environment and is passionate about helping patients understand, improve, and take ownership of their health.
Patients receive comprehensive health evaluations, advanced testing, and in-depth consultations with physicians. The Exercise Physiologist plays a key role in translating clinical insights into actionable, customized fitness and wellness plans.
Key Responsibilities- Design individualized exercise and wellness programs based on patient assessments and clinical findings
- Conduct fitness evaluations and interpret results to determine overall physical conditioning
- Administer and monitor cardiac stress tests, including continuous heart rate observation
- Utilize EKG equipment accurately during testing and training sessions
- Track patient progress, document exercise performance, and adjust plans as needed
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to align fitness plans with medical recommendations
- Educate patients on safe exercise techniques, performance optimization, and long-term health strategies
- Is deeply patient-centered and service-oriented
- Enjoys working one-on-one in a boutique, concierge-style setting
- Has a strong clinical foundation in exercise science and cardiovascular physiology
- Communicates clearly, empathetically, and confidently with a diverse patient population
- Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology
- Personal Trainer Certification
- Demonstrated experience administering fitness assessments and exercise programming
- Proficiency with EKG and cardiac monitoring equipment
- Strong understanding of exercise prescription and physiological responses to training
- Ability to develop and implement tailored fitness plans
- High attention to detail and comfort working with clinical data
- Work in a concierge, premium-care environment
