Health Coach , NY

Overview

As a Remote Health Coach, you'll work one-on-one with clients to guide them toward healthier habits and sustainable lifestyle changes. You will use motivational interviewing, goal-setting techniques, and evidence-based strategies to support clients virtually through video sessions, calls, messaging, and email.

• Conduct virtual coaching sessions with clients (via video, phone, or chat)
• Develop personalized wellness plans aligned with client goals
• Monitor progress and provide ongoing support, education, and accountability
• Motivate and empower clients using positive behavior change techniques
• Document sessions and maintain client records securely and professionally
• Collaborate with other coaches or health professionals as needed
• Stay updated with current trends in health, wellness, and coaching best practices

Required:

• Health Coach certification from an accredited program (e.g., NBHWC, ACE, IIN, Wellcoaches, etc.)
• Passion for health, wellness, and helping others succeed
• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with digital tools, telehealth platforms, and remote work
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

Preferred:

• Background in nutrition, fitness, behavioral health, or psychology
• Experience coaching diverse populations and health needs
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities (a plus, but not required)
