Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Physical Therapy Aide to join our healthcare team in Columbia. In this role, you will support licensed physical therapists in providing quality care to patients while ensuring smooth operation of our facility.

  • Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions and exercise programs
  • Help patients with mobility, transportation, and positioning during therapy
  • Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas in clean, organized condition
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for therapy sessions
  • Transport patients to and from treatment areas safely
  • Stock therapy supplies and monitor inventory levels
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
  • Previous healthcare or customer service experience is a plus
  • Strong physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
