Join our team as a Central Sterile Technician, working alongside NYP Central Sterile Technicians in providing sterilization services to multiple Ambulatory and Inpatient Operating rooms.

Certified Central Sterile Processing Technician - Hudson Valley - Central Sterile Supply - Full Time - Evenings

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surgical trays and supplies in a safe and cost-effective manner. As a skilled professional at New York-Presbyterian, you will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments.

This is a full time evening shift position working 3:00pm-11:00pm including call rotation and rotating weekends and alternating holidays at New York-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt, New York.

• Prepare surgical trays and supplies in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner
• Perform decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments
• Collaborate with Central Sterile Technicians and operating room staff to support sterilization services for Ambulatory and Inpatient Operating Rooms

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterilization technique, infection control requirements, and basic knowledge of med/surg procedure terminology

• Prior experience in Central Sterile
