Woodcrest Rehabilitation & Residential Health Care Center, Flushing NY

Responsibilities include:

• Manage all aspects of the admissions, from referral to admission.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, physicians, and community partners.
• Review clinical documentation to determine appropriateness for admission.
• Verifying insurance for new admissions.
• Coordinate with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams to ensure bed availability and readiness.
• Educate residents and families on services, care options, and financial considerations.
• Maintain accurate admission records.
• Monitor census, occupancy, and referral trends; implement strategies to meet census goals.
• Participate in marketing and outreach efforts, including facility tours and community events.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations.
• Previous health care experience preferred. Good customer service skills needed.
