Certification Details
- Sonographer position at Bassett Medical Center focusing on general and specialized vascular ultrasound imaging services.
- Strong skills required in general and vascular ultrasound; experience in interventional radiology preferred.
- Operate within an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab requiring advanced knowledge and proficiency in diagnostic vascular studies.
- Candidates should demonstrate high competency and proficiency across a full range of vascular and general ultrasound studies.
- Competency scores and detailed experience for each study type are required for assessment.
Job Details
- Proficiency in performing vascular ultrasound studies including upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex, carotid duplex, bypass graft, mesenteric artery duplex, renal artery duplex, vein mapping duplex, fistula flow, and venous reflux studies.
- ARDMS certification required.
- RVT certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be well-versed in requirements of an IAC-accredited vascular lab.
Job Requirements
- On-call rotation includes 1 weekday evening on-call every other week and 1 weekend on-call approximately every fifth week.
- Call schedule shared among a team of five technicians to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Occasional service provision at additional Bassett locations including hospital sites, outpatient clinics, and outreach centers.

- Sonography Department with focus on vascular ultrasound studies.
- Operates within an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab.
- Team of five technicians sharing on-call duties.
