CCSL staff members develop and provide their knowledge and expertise to the research community at NYU in a broad variety of cytometry research and applications. They work closely with investigators to define optimal experimental design, perform cytometric experiments as a service, develop and maintain standards for all service procedures and troubleshooting, and provide guidance and service in data management and analysis.
The successful applicant will be trained to become responsible for performing flow cytometric assays in collaboration with NYULH investigators to facilitate their basic science research experimentation, under supervision of the Associate Director. The successful applicant should have a basic familiarity with microscopy, immunofluorescence‑based assays, and cell culture.
The Principal Research Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of complex laboratory tasks and standardized procedures to provide high quality flow cytometric support for the research community.
