Overview
Seeking a full-time Nephrology Nurse Practitioner to join an established team, providing hospital coverage on weekdays and weekends (shared with others) and rounding in dialysis units. Flexible outpatient office hours are available. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and experience in kidney‑related healthcare, including patient education.
Responsibilities- Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations.
- Order relevant tests and maintain accurate documentation.
- Evaluate and treat kidney diseases, coordinating with the primary team.
- Hospital credentialing, dialysis coverage, and flexible scheduling.
- Active NY NP license.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience (preferably in nephrology).
- National certification (ANCC/AANP) and DEA eligibility.
- Salary: $60–$80 per hour with productivity bonuses.
